FLUYTEC,S.A.
produces wound polypropylene filtering cartridges made in specially
selected polypropylene thread, being the core injected polypropylene.
Optionally, the core can be made of stainless steel.
Its exclusive characteristics of design and manufacturation allow
us to produce a cartridge with a low pressure drop and a very high
resistance to perforation or crushing due to the differential pressure.
Besides our cartridges have an optimum retention grade, as you can
see in the attached diagrams. |

Our
quality department makes tests of every consignment cartridges in order
to check and certify their retention grade.

Length FLUYTEC, S.A. produces two lines of wound filtering
cartridges depending on the requeriments of our clients: in milimeters
and inches.
a)
Milimeters: From 250 to 1250 mm. In multiples of 250 mm.
b) Inches: 10",20",30",40" y 50".
Other sizes avalaible under request or if the specifications require
so.
FILTRATION
GRADE
In
the filtration with polypropylene cartridges, the filtration grade is
nominal, existing a very important factor to be considered; the effectiveness
of the cartridge, that is the percent of particles equal and superior
to the nominal filtration grade that the cartridge is able to retain.
The
cartridges manufactured by FLUYTEC,S.A. have the following grades
of nominal filtration: 1, 3, 5, 10, 25 y 50 micron.
Next
we expose the results of laboratory tests evaluating the retention grade
of our cartridges using a laser-guided particle counter:

Among
the wound filtering elements made by FLUYTEC,S.A. you can find
our filtering candles made in wound polypropylene.
This candles can be used for direct filtration or in precoat filtration.
The
lengths of the candles are variable towards a filtering length of 1750
mm or 70" being their filtration grade equal to the wound cartridges.
For
application in sea water desalination plants we have avalaible two models:
a)
With the internal structure made in stainless steel quality N08904 or
S31254 as in ASTM.
b)
With the internal structure made in plastic materials. This model
have the great advantage of being dismountable, the whole set is recoverable,
except the filtering element itself that can be easily replaced "in
situ" without having to send the candle to rewind.
