When selecting a Filter Housing the following should be considered :

All the components should be designed following international design codes and certified by the appropriate official bodies.

Their hydraulic design in terms of ferrule measurements, piping and internal distribution should be the appropriate having the minimal pressure drop.

The construction material used should also be appropriate in relation to corrosion and operation.

The method for installing and uninstalling the filter and cartridges should be quick and reliable.
